What we check
Two hundred points across engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electricals, air conditioning, body panels, underbody and tyres plus a diagnostics scan and a road test. It is the identical checklist our own inventory goes through, run by the same inspectors on the same equipment.
You get the full written report, including anything that failed. We do not summarise it into a score and hide the detail, and we do not soften a finding because it might cost someone a sale.
When to use it
- Buying privately. Someone is selling you a car and you want a second opinion before the money moves. Bring it here first.
- Before a long trip. A pre-departure check on your own car, so a fault turns up on a ramp rather than on a highway.
- Before you sell it yourself. A report in hand answers the questions a private buyer would otherwise use to talk your price down.
- End of warranty. Find what the manufacturer should still be paying for while they are still paying for it.
What this is not is a valuation. If you want to know what we would pay for the car, that is the transparent valuation instead different flow, different outcome, no charge.
